DEMOS AND ILLUSTRATIONS

This page contains demos, animations, and screen shots of some visually engaging things which people in the lab have created or contributed to.  At the moment, these demos are available:

• A slow-motion animation of the vocal folds vibrating during speech, contributed by Peter Ladefoged.
• An animation of articulators in motion during speech, created from Electromagnetic Articulography data by Adam Albright (about 200k)
• Displaying Palatometer data in 3-D,  by former undergrad Cheng Cheng Saw Tan
• Domain Initial Strengthening - sample audio files and EPG data, prepared by Taehong Cho
• 80th Birthday greetings to Peter Ladefoged from the Phonetics Lab, illustrating several different kinds of speech data (Oct. 2005)
