welcome note

I graduated from Russian State University of Humanities in Moscow with an equivalent of Master's degree and currently I am a PhD student (now second year) at the UCLA Linguistics Department. I mostly do semantics, pragmatics, and fieldwork, occasionaly supplemented by morphology and Russian syntax. My main passion so far is cross-linguistic semantics, which is broadening the scope of formal semantic research by examining languages other than English and gaining new knowledge about meaning in general.

Besides linguistics I do photography and paparazzi the department and beyond.
