Most of the material on this site is in Adobe PDF format. To read PDF files, you have to have the free Adobe PDF reader on your computer.
I use this page for storage of files with long-term use, and to make resources accessible to any other linguistics teachers who might want to use them.
If you are a UCLA student taking my Linguistics 20, please go to the page for this course on the MyUCLA site. It will have the syllabus and full set of assignments and readings.
In my course I use a self-written text, entitled Introductory Linguistics. It is copyrighted, but linguistics teachers at other universities are welcome to use it. Please send me an email if you do this. You can also use my lecture notes.
