Two talks from the UCLA Language Processing Lab will be presented at the 54th Chicago Linguistic Society, April 26-28, 2018.

Graduate student Marju Kaps will present her MA thesis research in a talk titled “Licensing SOV in Estonian: A naturalness rating study.”

Jesse Harris will present research with PhD graduate Natasha Korotkova (Konstanz, Tuebingen) in a talk titled “Preference for single events guides perception in Russian: A phoneme restoration study.”
