**DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 19, 2021**
Calling all 2021 Linguistics Graduating Seniors!
It is that time of the year to celebrate the Linguistics undergraduate majors and minors who are graduating! This year, the Linguistics Department will host a virtual department graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 12, 2021. As part of this momentous occasion, we invite graduating seniors to apply to be the Senior Speaker on behalf of the Class of 2021.
In order to be considered, please complete the Submission Form by Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
The application will require brief information on your experience at UCLA and a draft of your proposed speech (no more than 3-5 minutes). Speeches will be pre-recorded and included in the virtual department ceremony. The selected winner must be available between May 24-June 4 (earlier is better) to record their speech.
