Indo-European Studies — The Program in Indo-European Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications for an open-rank position in Indo-European Studies. Senior applicants will be considered for the A. Richard Diebold Chair in Indo-European Studies. Applicants should have the PhD in hand and broad training in the linguistics and philology of the principal ancient and medieval Indo-European languages and in the linguistic and cultural reconstruction of Proto-Indo-European. Field(s) of specialization open. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to scholarly research and publication as well as dedication to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The appointment will be effective July 1, 2015. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
