UCLA is hosting CUSP 7 this year, on Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 (location TBA). CUSP — California Universities Semantics and Pragmatics — is an interdisciplinary conference presenting work by local students and faculty spanning the fields of Linguistics and Philosophy. CUSP began at UCLA in 2009 and has quickly developed into a great forum for discussion and collaboration on semantics and related topics. Admission is open to affiliates of the department; please contact Jessica Rett (rett@ucla.edu) if you’re interested in attending the dinner.
The UCLA Linguistics Department’s normal business hours are M-F 8am-12pm, 1-4pm. Office schedule and availability may change based on UCLA protocol (www.covid-19.ucla.edu). Masks are optional but strongly recommended indoors. All UCLA affiliates and visitors must self-screen for symptoms before coming to campus.
