Jian-Leat Siah has been awarded the first place in the student poster session at the 2025 LSA Summer Institute.
He presented on his MA project, “Learnability of Prosodic End-Weight Effect in Malay Echo Reduplication”, with a focus on the interplay between item-specific knowledge and abstract generalizations in learning Malay echo reduplication patterns.
