Every quarter we have a Fest (or sometimes two)dedicated to a particular linguistic topic. Superlatives have been inspiringgreat interest around the department lately, and we had a number ofpresentations about them last summer. Anyone who wants to present somethingabout superlative constructions (in any language) is welcome – please write Pamela Munro at munro@ucla.edu to volunteer.
