Cinque's, Hilda's, and others' thoughts on Greenberg's Universal 20, about word order within the DP/NP. If you'd like to participate in this fest,please bring us some interesting data (from any language or languages) about the order of the major DP-internal constituents, but there will not be more than four presenters.

Every quarter we have a Fest (or sometimes two)dedicated to a particular linguistic topic. Superlatives have been inspiringgreat interest around the department lately, and we had a number ofpresentations about them last summer. Anyone who wants to present somethingabout superlative constructions (in any language) is welcome - please write Pamela Munro at munro@ucla.edu to volunteer.
