Our department is fairly quiet during the summer, but many of us are busy with research projects, attendance at summer schools and institutes, going to conferences, and teaching in our Summer School program. The Fall Quarter starts officially on September 25, with planning and orientation. Instruction begins on the 28th. We are looking forward to meeting a new class of graduate students and a new group of undergraduate Linguistics majors.

Welcoming our new Linguistics students to Campbell Hall to meet and mingle with peers, faculty, the Bruin Linguists Society, and the Linguistics Undergraduate Advisor!
