Congratulations to Prof. Ben Eischens for receiving an award from the UCHRI’s 2026-2027 Engaging Humanities Grant competition. The project is titled, “UCLA-CBDIO Collaborative Mixtec Curriculum Development”. Prof. Eischens will be collaborating with a non-profit organization in Salinas, Centro Binacional para el Desarrollo Indígena Oaxaqueño (CBDIO). They will make Mixtec language lessons for an after-school Mixtec-immersion program CBDIO runs.
