The UCLA Linguistics Department’s normal business hours are M-F 8am-12pm, 1-4pm. Office schedule and availability may change based on UCLA protocol (www.covid-19.ucla.edu). Research
Giuseppina Silvestri’s research interests include comparative and historical Indo-European and Romance linguistics, and especially (morpho-)syntactic variation in Italo-Romance and Greek varieties, as well as topics in theoretical syntax (through the parametric approach) and glotto-genetics, and issues ascribable to the phonology-syntax interface (RF, propagation, metaphony) and the syntax-semantics interface (syntactic reduplication and free relatives).
