Staff Position – Graduate Student Affairs Officer
The UCLA Department of Linguistics invites applications for a Graduate Student Affairs Officer (official title: Student Services 4) to oversee the student affairs program in the Linguistics Department, as part of the UCLA Rolfe/Campbell Humanities Group. The position mainly focuses on graduate affairs, but will also oversee the undergraduate program. This is a full-time, career position.
This position provides diverse and comprehensive experience in leadership/supervision/management, human resources (graduate payroll and personnel), and financial budgeting while working in a dynamic department with supportive and friendly faculty, students, and staff. We are looking for candidates who have exceptional customer service, program and financial management, and are independent, detail-oriented, organized, take the initiative, and creative/innovative.
