This past Wednesday was the premiere public performance of the Bulgarian folk music group comprised of UCLA’s Russ Schuh (clarinet) and Vrinda Chidambaram (vocals), along with fellow bandmates Aaron Bittel (accordion) and Jerry Summers (drums).

The group calls themselves Лудите Млади (a/k/a The Crazy Youth) and they play a mix of traditional Bulgarian and Macedonian songs. Below are a few photos of the people from the linguistics department who came out to support the band and listen to some excellent music!
