The workshop will be held at UCLA on May 25, 2024.
The workshop is designed to foster collaboration and exchange among scholars, students, educators, and community members from the larger LA metro area, including representatives from UCLA, CalState, and Pomona College. It will focus on current bilingualism research and practical methodologies, providing valuable insights and strategies for both academic and applied uses.
Key Features of the Workshop:
– Engagement with current research and applied approaches in bilingualism.
– Contributions from a diverse group of speakers, including local community representatives.
– Opportunities for attendees to gain new perspectives and integrate innovative methods into their work.
– Networking across disciplines, encouraging connections and collaborations.
Daria and Giusi are excited to see how this workshop can benefit the department, students, and their own pedagogical approaches by offering fresh insights and practical strategies in the study of bilingualism.
