Ed Keenan has recently been awarded the S.-Y. Kuroda prize by MOL (Mathematics of Language), a special interest group of the Association for Computational Linguistics. The award is in honor of Yuki Kuroda for his proof that context sensitive languages are just those accepted by linear bounded automata). Ed will be receiving the award at the MOL’s biannual meeting at the end of July at the LSA Linguistics Institute in Chicago.
Congratulations Ed!
