We are delighted to announce that Meg Cychosz (Ph.D. UC Berkeley 2020) has accepted our offer to join our department as an assistant professor beginning July 2023. Meg is currently an NIH postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland. Her research concerns speech development, especially by children with cochlear implants, and by bilingual children in Bolivia.
The UCLA Linguistics Department’s normal business hours are M-F 8am-12pm, 1-4pm. Office schedule and availability may change based on UCLA protocol (www.covid-19.ucla.edu).
